LINE DANCING FOR BEGINNERS

Line Dancing is a very good form of exercise. While the physical part of our body is moving, the brain is also working. We are actually training our brain to have better memory as every dance has different steps.

Currently, we have Intermediate Line Dance classes on every Wednesday & Friday night. However, for those who do not know the basic steps find the class too tough to follow.

We are responsible and caring social workers, we want to help these residents to achieve their wish to dance and to take up the exercise. A Line Dance class for beginner was started in the month of March. In order to cater for those who have to work during weekday, we split the morning class into Monday and Saturday 7.30am.

Here, I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate these beginner dancers, You Boleh! They started with zero knowledge of Line Dance, some even have 2 left legs; during school days, they scored A1 in mathematics, here some of them couldn’t even count from 1-8. Today, they are different. They can do beginner dances with confidence. They reserve to be praised. WELL DONE.
